We have a great question to ask our self, that "How long did we take to Select our life partner..?" For Sameer it was amazing one day and he wonder " How did he do it...?" the answer is , "it happens because god who he controls and he decides each and every moments of human !!" .
It was on 11th Oct 2010, Sameer had a call for a web chat with Mumtaz's Father as first meet on “look for a girl” ( procedure of arranged marriage) at 11:35 pm. past that one week the proposal is roaming in and around sameer`s family through some of the mutual relatives in between. He spoke to her father on web as planned and things went well, then he talk to her by request . Sameer talk to her very general things like her name and qualifications, nothing much to talk and he had some starting trouble also. On the other-hand so many people from Mumtaz`s home was watching him thru web; Nevertheless Sameer was groomed well too, with his Red color Cotton shirt and so on, conversation ended well and he is sure that mumtaz and family will like him but he could not see mumtaz properly but liked her by the presence as like first sight love, chat was disconnected for the day followed by asking her to provide some more photos.
Now it's sameer’s time to decide up on, choice of sameer was on her and her good family which has a strong support from parents; as all these days he had followed their blessing, hence every thing turns good about her. So he had a positive view further and need to see her once more. So now sameer is in a hot-seat to decide up on their life with this limited time. "Think-think" he had left with 24 hours for a decision, but it's alright for him.
It was 12th Tuesday and samee'r is in office, his mind is full of a big decision making procedures and by the end of the day he like to call her once again as a sake of calling, but to decide faster and to listen to her sweet voice. Fixed an appointment in the night by e-mail, but unfortunately she has not read that e-mail, pending the reply from her he had called the father's mobile at night. In this call he was nervous as usual as with the girls but had strong points to talk about; yes, "Hello" it was her on the first ring. Told her all about himself and his plans personally and professionally, this is to make her aware about his conditions and flexibility with his professional life. She was listening and answering to all those points and more over asked back some questions to him as she need to digest his Engineering to her Commerce. She was particular about sameer’s studies and past works par from professional life. As he had decided to avoid emotional questions for time being as it is not required in this part of time, but she doesn`t. She asked sameer that "did he like her....?". It was a prize winning question for him to answer and sameer had done it well in a single word a big "YES". he heard her smile in which he could clearly see her from thousands of kilometers away. Further nothing to ask and say as the decision is made on spot and on time. Now Sameer need to end his final call of decision making and the first call of his life with Mumtaz.
As this is a story of a typical arranged marriage proposal styles with semi-urban families, which bonding the both family very firm manner. In arranged marriages the real Love starts after marriage, as against Love marriages. hence it is more understood and adjusted each other after the firm bond.
